Life has changed, you’ve changed, and the ways you used to cope or push through no longer seem to be working like they once did.

Maybe you’ve spent years “doing the right things”—staying strong, praying harder, or trusting God through difficult seasons—only to find yourself struggling with your relationships, depressed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted anyway. And when those thoughts start to surface, it’s hard to shake the shame that comes from even struggling in the first place.

And maybe right now, faith is the only thing that feels grounding, but you still feel completely consumed by the pressure to hold everything together while wondering why life feels so much harder than it’s supposed to.

Nuance, wisdom, and thoughtful care.

More than surface-level encouragement or easy spiritual answers.

The Way I Work

This is where things can finally start shifting.

Most of my clients don’t come to therapy because one single thing went wrong. Life often has a way of making relationships, stress, anxiety, old patterns, and more feel tangled together in ways that are exhausting and difficult to navigate (to say the least). Together, we work to understand the deeper challenges beneath the surface—because once the patterns become clear, change often starts to feel much more possible.

A cozy reading nook with a light gray modern armchair, a small matching side table, a potted plant, white built-in shelves with books, and large window with white curtains letting in natural light in a bright, white-walled room.

This is collaborative and goal-oriented work, which means once we do discover what’s really going on, we intentionally move toward why it’s happening, and then work on what needs to change. We won’t be circling the same problems week after week with little progress. You need deeper clarity, meaningful insight, and a stronger understanding of yourself and your relationships—that’s the direction I want to help you move toward.

I bring a balance of warmth and honesty into the therapy experience. Of course, I absolutely want you to feel comfortable, understood, and supported, but I’m also not afraid to challenge unhealthy patterns, ask difficult questions, or point out things you may not fully see yet. (Those moments are where some of the most important growth happens.)

Since meaningful change doesn’t only happen during the session itself, there’s usually some reflection, practical application, and homework between sessions as well. My hope is that therapy becomes something you actively experience throughout the week—not just a conversation you return to once in awhile. The more willing you are to thoughtfully engage with the work outside of sessions, the more meaningful and lasting change tends to become.

Values & Guiding Principles

Whole-Person Care

I pay attention to everything. Your beliefs, relationships, history, emotions, and experiences all matter when it comes to healing and growth.

Space for honesty

You don’t have to hide hard emotions, questions, or struggles to be a faithful or “good” person. Come to this environment knowing you don’t have to feel shame, pressure to perform, or pretend everything is okay.

Compassion + Clarity

Feeling truly supported matters just as much as gaining an honest perspective. I offer empathy, grace, and thoughtful challenge so insight can lead to real transformation.

Faith + Emotional Health Together

Emotional wellness and spiritual growth are not separate conversations—they deeply shape one another. Prioritizing both allows us to address not just symptoms, but the deeper challenges at play in your life.

Practical Growth

Therapy should be useful outside the session, too. That’s why I encourage realistic reflection, practical application, and attainable steps for clients to integrate into their everyday lives and relationships.

Clinical Excellence

My work is informed by advanced clinical training, evidence-based approaches, and a nuanced understanding of both emotional health and faith. I believe clients deserve care that is compassionate, thoughtful, and clinically grounded.
