A counseling session is typically 50 minutes long. Generally, meeting with your counselor weekly or bi-weekly is best to provide ongoing accountability and help you make progress towards your goals.

The length of the counseling process varies for everyone depending on the issues being addressed.

You and your counselor will work with together to develop an individualized plan to determine the length and frequency of counseling that best fits your needs.

Your counselor wants to get to know and understand more about your background including what led you to take this step so the focus of an initial counseling session is history-gathering, building trust, and developing a personalized counseling plan.

By the end of your first session, you and Dr. McKee will work together to clarify next steps in your counseling journey.

Counseling requires an investment of time, energy, and finances. It is a big step towards reaching personal and emotional growth goals. The rate of a 50-minute session with Laura is $175.

She is an out-of-network provider with insurance and can provide a receipt upon request for those who would like to apply the cost of sessions to their out of network benefits.

She also accepts HSA/FSA cards as forms of payment.
