Online therapy works like in-person therapy. We talk about what’s on your mind, work through challenges you’re experiencing, and move towards your goals. Some people prefer meeting online because it cuts out the drive time and is easy to fit into daily life. All you need is a phone, tablet, or computer and a quiet space to meet.

I offer both. I see clients online (throughout the state of Texas) and in person in Plano, Texas on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

The cost for a 50 minute individual or couples session is $175.
Fees for extended couples sessions are available upon request.

McKee Counseling is an out-of-network provider, which means we don’t bill insurance directly. However, we can provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement based on your benefits.
Many clients also use their HSA or FSA funds to cover the cost of sessions.

A Good Faith Estimate is a document that provides you with a clear breakdown of the estimated costs of your therapy sessions. It is part of the No Suprises Act which is designed to help clients better understand and plan for the financial aspects of their care.

The length of therapy varies for everyone. It might just be a few sessions to work on something specific, or it could be longer if we’re targeting deeper patterns or life challenges. I regularly tell clients that counseling doesn’t last forever. As we work together, I will check in with you regularly to consider your progress towards your goals and make sure the timing and pace of counseling feels right for you.
